It is great that you have started this website to help the students from all over the world and especially from Nepal. After being in Finland for about 5 months, my view about Finland is:
If you are coming to the universities, they are really good. Studies are of high standard, facilities are great. Above all, studies are very tough and very occupying. So, working(jobs) together with studies is next to impossible if you want good grades and finish your degree on time. So, I am quite surprised how NepalFinland manages replying 100 emails/Week. If you happen to be a good student and are in few better universities like University of Helsinki, Helsinki University of Technology etc, they provide options for summer jobs where you can earn money for the next year of studies during summer. So, my suggestion is that never think of returning the money from the draft. You can live with that for at least a year. Getting jobs is also very difficult because of the language and also now because of the economic crisis now. A university graduate i.e. Masters has a good scope after studies with regards to jobs especially in IT sector. I have seen guys working in IT companies and Nokia after completing Masters or during second year of Masters Degree.
However, if you are coming to polytechnics, I have heard that studying is quite easy. I have also heard that degree is not highly regarded. A polytechnic graduate needs to study 40 more credits to complete his masters degree in a university i.e. about a year more than normal students. It may seem a bit harsh but some of my Finnish friends say that "Polytechnics should be scrapped altogether because they are providing useless education and graduates don't get a job after studies in relevant field. So better way would be to give vocational education like (Car Mechanic etc)to those students because only the students who are not accepted in Universities go to Polytechnic". So, think before you join university or polytechnics or come to Finland for that matter.
